Giving Posterous a Go
Not another redesign.
I've had a Posterous account for years, but I've never really used it or taken it seriously. After fussing with what exactly I want to have on my site, dealing with Wordpress, and my less-than-stellar expereinces with Bluehost, I've decided to give it a serious go.
Redirecting a previously purchased domain to Posterous was easy enough. And I found this theme from Cory Watilo that really suits what I am going for. The only thing I don't like about it is how prominent his theme credits are in the footer. I'll have to make those smaller.
So far I'm finding a lot of nice features about Posterous that a self-install of Wordpress, or for that matter a Wordpress.com setup, doesn't offer. There are a ton of ways you can create posts, pages, and media, and all of the 'social' tie-ins work perfectly and unobtrusively.
